Located in Tyler, Texas, Skeen Insurance Agency is a company that thrives on quality coverage, consistency, and compassion for each of our clients.

Jack Skeen Sr. first entered the insurance world in 1940, but it wasn’t long before he was called away to join the US Armed Forces as an aviation instructor in 1942. When he finally made it back to Tyler, Texas, Mr. Skeen opened the Skeen Insurance Agency.

Working with the citizens and leaders of East Texas, the Skeen Insurance Agency was able to meet the insurance needs of the community at large. Mr. Skeen retired in 1989, but the company has kept going strong as a full lines agency, providing Commercial, Personal, Life and Health Insurance coverage throughout East Texas.

The Skeen Insurance Agency has access to over 100 carriers, some of which have been our partners for more than 50 years. These partnerships have given us the ability to always meet our clients’ needs with tailor-made coverage.

In addition to strong company partnerships, we also keep lasting relationships with our clients and their families. We currently have clients who have been insured through our agency for over 50 years.
